Begin your freeride adventure in Gudauri with some of the most popular and extensive routes starting from the Kobi Pass. These routes lead into a wide gorge on the opposite side of the cable cars. Unlike the rest of the resort facing south, the Kobi routes offer a northern exposure, which means you get to enjoy high-quality soft snow for a longer time. SnowLab guides, with years of experience in Gudauri, have explored numerous descent options in this area, ranging from easier ones (Kobi Light) to more challenging (Kobi Pro) and even expert-level (Kobi Grande). The best part? No need for a long ascent – the route kicks off with a short walk from the upper station of the chairlift.
