Sofi Etsadashvili has been creating unique jewelry since 2000, blending traditional and contemporary design using Georgian cloisonn and enamel. She draws inspiration from Georgian culture, modernizing traditional themes and often incorporating natural stones. Sofi's unisex creations cater to confident individuals, with a client list that includes top models, ambassadors, and princes. She actively participates in international enamel biennials, emphasizing quality in her work.

The workshop goes the following way:

  • We start with our base forms. Than with tiny pieces of silver wire to work with to create designs.
  • After the desired shape from silver wire is achieved, we glue them down on our silver fragments.
  • Than we fire it in special kiln on 750 - 800 degrees. After the first firing, it is time to add color.
  • The "paint" isn't actually paint at all. Its a mixture of tiny glass beads and water (Special Japanese pigments that melt when they are fired). We add several layers, send it for firing, let it cool, and repeat the process over and over until the glass was even or heaped over the silver.
  • The entire process takes about four hours. From here, we polish and seal the designs.
