Visit the Kakheti region. Get to know its history. Taste the wines and chacha made here. Learn how wine is made in a large enterprise and a family cellar. Enjoy dinner in a beautiful courtyard with views of the Caucasus.
Our journey begins with a visit to the house-museum of Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali. Here, in the European-style park, you'll encounter exotic plants from various corners of the world and the enchanting Alley of Love. Legend has it that if a couple in love walks this path blindfolded, their love will be eternally blessed. But what truly captivates is the historic wine cellar, one of Georgia's earliest, dating back to 1835, where wine was first bottled.
Following this, we will visit one of the outstanding wineries of Kakheti where we will taste classic wines and have a little wine tour.
After the tasting, we will visit Telavi and see the palace of Erekle II. The museum complex includes the remains of the philosophical school founded by Erekle, the bathhouse; The museum keeps numismatic materials, sarcophagi, manuscripts, clothing collections and many other interesting exhibits.
Following a brief yet enriching historical tour, we'll venture to Kvareli, where a warm and inviting family winery awaits. Here, you'll experience a delightful tasting of three wine varieties and chacha, accompanied by a delectable dinner.
We will return to Tbilisi with many pleasant memories and new knowledge.
